Rhinoceros 3D Design Software Overview:
Rhinoceros is an easy-to-learn, easy-to-use 3D design software that has a wide range of applications in many different industries. Rhinoceros (or Rhino, Rhino3D) is a CAD and 3D graphics software developed by Robert McNeel & Associates, a private company founded in 1980. Rhinoceros is developed based on the NURBS mathematical model algorithm, an algorithm that focuses on accurately representing mathematical freeform curves and surfaces in computer graphics (as opposed to mesh polygon applications).

– Rhino’s new rendering pipeline is faster and more stable.
– Rhinoceros software uses features found on modern graphics hardware, like GPU-sensitive shaders and memory optimizations. This results in fewer GPU-specific rendering issues and more consistent, beautiful, and frequent frames, even with large models.
– Rhinoceros has a completely reworked documentation workflow, from a completely reworked annotation-style interface, to better DWG support and transparent RichText. It’s now easier to more accurately and clearly communicate the how and why of your design on Rhinoceros.
– Licensing & Administration : We’ve worked hard to make Rhino easier to install, license, and configure. There’s a great new option to license Rhino using Cloud Zoo.
– Make2D has been completely rewritten to provide faster, better, cleaner, more customizable results.
– Rhino is more than just a modeler. Rhino 6 brings major improvements with API improvements, better documentation, and more access to Rhino commands from Grasshopper.
– Rhino 6 users have access to the Serengeti community and our Work-In-Progress (WIP) builds. WIP builds are where we are developing future features like SubD support, Grasshopper 2, a new real-time rendering engine, and more.
